So there's a line in the budget for "domestic bombing prevention"? I thought we funded law enforcement agencies, not the prevention of individual crimes.

Or is it "Obama hasn't passed a budget in 3 years"

Or "Congress controls the purse strings"

Some people believe anything that is congruent to their (warped) world view.

Interesting. I wonder if this was pre sequester or if it was just money/tasks being shuffled between units.

Sorry, bombing prevention is not a valid role of the federal government

wow..none of the above actually read the article based on their posts.
That article is twisting, turning and spinning to produce that headline and after reading the article they really stretched to do it.

THe premise of the headline was so absurd, reading it was not necessary. And of course, when you read it, you confirmed that it was absurd.

"The House-passed appropriations bill for fiscal 2012 would cut spending by 2.6 percent from the last budget -- 7 percent below the president's request." - Fox News, September 6, 2011.

"In the 2010 midterm elections, the Republican Party won the majority in the House of Representatives." - Wikipedia

Now, OP, let's try this again: Who's responsible for cutting funding for Homeland Security?
