There are other programs beside government programs that help people:
Founded in 1932, New Eyes for the Needy has provided free eyeglasses to more than 7 million people in the U.S. and around the world. The organization is based in Short Hills, New Jersey. What states help their low income citizens the most? Ga wasn't bad but I have heard they stopped letting medicaid pay for glasses,I just found out NC has as well. I guess its OK for kids to be able to see at school but not for adults to make sure they don't run over people on the road...ya know because EVERYONE can afford 150$ for a pair of glasses...Anyways...what states actually help their citizens? Guess I need to find this out before I move to a different state...hating my current state more and more every day.
Don't you have a job and a savings account since $150 for a new pair of Rx Glasses every 2-3 years is not that expensive
You can literally come here with nothing but a child, and the city will procure all of your essentials at the drop of a dime. And that's not really the bad part; the bad part comes in when people become completely dependent on the state the entire time, and create a web of dependency with their kids and other relatives.
I would also vouch for NJ....I can recall that they were actually paying car insurance for some folks who were low income. Their reason? They did not want these folks who were at a "disadvantage" from having the access to certain resources that the rest of us [who pay for our own car insurance] have.

Don't worry my check to the government is on it's way. After the welfare leaches get done with it there may be some left over for you.
