It's coming. New Law to prosecute people that "upset" another person online is coming soon. So basically they are claiming that when you upset somebody in an argument online (like a debate forum ) it will be considered a form of online bullying and it will soon be lumped in as a criminal act and you could be tracked down, arrested and hauled off to the nearest re-education camp.

I don't have the link yet, in a meeting, so if somebody can google this and post it in here, I'd appreciate it.

oh and Welcome to the New World Order, where speaking your mind is considered a criminal act.

This is how we will all disappear on City Data......what a way to meet each other I've even seen people offended on the pet forum so we are all at risk. This is crazy......H.R. 1966: Offend Someone Online - Go To Prison

Wonder if this is a part of Obama Care!

Im honestly not surprised. The "thought police" have been getting stronger and stronger with each passing year. It is entirely plausible that arguing with someone online could be interpreted as harassment.

It's very similar to the anti-racism crusades which are really attempts at sniffling free speech. If someone wants to be racist then let them show their narrow mind ... free speech beats someone being offended.

It is. and it's much more than Obamacare. it's his whole agenda to become a Socialist dictator, and drop the word "President" from his title.

Okay, calm down. Three things you should know.

1. This was back in 2009.
2. It was introduced by a Democrat.
3. It died.

Megan Meier Cyberbullying Prevention Act (2009; 111th Congress H.R. 1966) - GovTrack.us

It was ressurected. don't be blind and naive about it. It's coming. prepare to be able to NOT be able to debate your views anymore. got it? you may just upset some senstitive Obamabot and end up in Gitmo. don't take this light. Obama is not effin' around.

A Democrat would never introduce a bill that would attempt to cheapen the 1st Amendment.

If Obama has his way the Constitution and the Bill of Rights will be his personal toilet paper.

Why do you people even go into hysterics without understanding anything? You realize this is 4 years old & is not even relevant? It must suck to be so uninformed.
