The WH does not make those type of detailed reports.

That money got cut back years ago.

You're pretty idealistic to think if DHS in DC had a few million more that this would not have happened.
This.

The world is complex...humans as a collective are what make it complex. You can not predict with total accuracy who will do what. Funding towards more "security" should not be that expensive. For instance all of our garbage container in Toronto subways or other public areas have been replaced with see through containers so no one can put something funny in them. Until folks realize that people who have evil intent are usually stupid even though some call them intelligent these problems will not be resolved. It is the idea of liberal equality that might be the problem- that even bad crazy stupid people have rights.

In your world, people don't matter, unless you happen to like them. Are we done with the pointlessly vacuous mud-slinging at each other?
Bills are kicked around Congress every day. And if it makes the POTUS' desk, he signs it or not. Obama signed the sequester and said it was a done deal. Man up and admit that without Obama's signature, the sequester doesn't happen. It's pretty simple.

In the lefty world, people are to be used and discarded when their usefulness as a political tool expires. And your feigned indignation at the 'mudslinging' seems to be selective.

As for the OP, ha ha.
Oh they do? I did not know that. Finally someone posts something interesting and factual on this forum.

Yet another vacuous dodging of the point you don't like. Again: Who proposed it? Why did you scurrilously try to ascribe blame to one side when both sides were involved? Why weren't you honest and upfront in your characterization? Why didn't you admit that the OP was offensively opportunistic and without any redeeming merit whatsoever? Why won't you admit the moral bankruptcy of the perspective you're trying to support? You cannot avoid these realities by posting inane messages trying to ascribe the blame for any of this to the President.

The reality which you seem utterly incapable of admitting is that we're all responsible, each and every one of us. I know you'll beat your chest and wail like a baby claiming that you don't have any accountability, but that's just the right-wing indoctrination you've been subjected to overriding your innate sense of humanity by refusing to practice personal accountability.

The only way to even slightly curb this sort of idiocy is through education and a thing called justice. People used to go postal usually because of injustice. A court system that is just might be a good start as far as lessening hate generated by injustice.
Perceived 'injustice' is not a reason to kill people with bombs or anything else no matter who does it. All the education in the world will not prevent to self-made 'victim' from doing crap like this. And to try and justify those who act out on their so-called 'injustice' is disgusting. And those who went 'postal' usually had a mental problem to begin with. How do you 'educate' a sick person who thinks everyone is out to get them and they need to kill people to get 'justice'?

Here's the point lefty like it or not. Obama signed it. Look up at how a bill becomes law. Had it not been signed into law by the Snake-In-Chief we aren't even talking about it. The fact that you keep harping on this and taking up much bandwidth to avoid the obvious says it all.
