That link you supplied is ridiculous.

For one thing, "no longer a person of interest" does not equal "innocent". It just means there is currently no (or insufficient) evidence that would justify focusing anymore investigative resources on him.

Also, "ties to al Qaeda" is pretty thin. The link's evidence is the detainee shares the name "Al Hardi" with several known terrorists. In Arabic, the pronoun "al" means "of", as in Abdoul al Hardi= that guy Abdul, the one from the village (or clan) of Hardi.

al Hardi is a very common name in SA, so the "guilt by region/clan" assertion is pretty lame.

You are from Boston- does that mean you are a liberal?

Why don't we wait for the investigation to play out, and see what happens, before we jump to conclusions?
