Obama is totally annoyed and ranting about the Senate vote because he wanted the Senate to pass the bill, knowing the House would not pass it and therefore he could blame the Republicans so the Democrats can get control of the House.

Obama has two interests, increasing taxes and 2014.

What's intelligent about doing what congress always does ? Obama likes something and the Corporate Lobbysists (AKa congress) sit on there hands and say no. I seriously hope after 2014 all these useless sacks of trash get thrown out and set back to whatever backwoods redneck hole they slithered out from. And the fact that you and trash like yourselves think this is a good thing is rather pathetic and just shows how low the common american can get. Hope you don't anger someone while driving would hate for them to pull a gun and shoot you or someone you know. Oh and for those who keep screaming about freedom and rights there is a reason for laws but why don't we just get rid of all gun laws perhaps that nice man down the street with mental problems would like to shoot the pink elephants.

What a bunch of inane leftist crap.

If Obama didn't have a good day yesterday he's really going to be pissed after the midterms.

It's disturbing how little respect he has for the Democratic process when it doesn't go his way. But then that's par for the course when you're a Democrat as we saw with the state senators in Wisconsin when they fled to neighboring IL upon realizing that they weren't going to be able to protect their lecherous pals in the unions.

It's a moot point though. Obama has already become a lame duck and there is certainly no cavalry due to show up in 2014. It's going to be fun watching his puerile, petulant antics over the next three years as he suffers defeat and humiliation time and time again. There is no one more deserving of it.

LOL, Sold to the highest bidder, who is trying to protect our 2nd amendment rights. Yep, the NRA and other 2nd amendment defenders sure are up to no good!

No the NRA represents millions if law abiding gun owners. Corporations have nothing to do with this. Now, if you want me to set your facts straight on who owes who.. Stop and drop the BS and take a look at how many BILLIONS your dear leader stuffed and continues to stuff in the same companies that the NRA has nothing to do with..

It didn't have anything to do with intelligence, and it wasn't even a reflection of the will of the people they serve. It had everything to do with wanting to keep their jobs.

What you don't seem to recognize is the majority of those 200,000 Americans who will have a premature death at the point of a gun will have the horror of knowing the person gunning them down or will do it all by themselves. 60,000 will be those who die by their own hand taking the easy way out of lifes pressures or problems or the so called murder suicide where the killer sincerely believes he is doing the murder victim a favor. You know the loving elderly couple or a spouse who has a chonically sick partner who shoots the partner then does us a favor by taking his own life. All this is very sad but what can we do about this? The largest group numbering 80,000 will be the ones who didn't intend to murder someone but emotions may have got the best of them. This might be the abused wife who can or won't take the abuse any more and guns the abuser down. Then we have the star crossed lovers with one who don't accept the fact the significant other no longer whats the relationship. This can be an equal opportunity killing because jilted males and females can go for the gun. Then we have the teenager who feels he has been bullied or disrespected and decides to do something about with a gun of course. There was a shooting in Bethesda Md on Wisconsin Ave at a trendy and expensive Boutique called LuLu Lemon where a coworker got pissed off at her coworkers and simply gunned them down after hours while they were closing up the store. Now how can any psychriatist or social counsulor screen out a normal person who might lose control of his emotions or judgement some time in the future and become a killer. The Second Ammendment doesn't say anything about abridging the right to keep and bear arms just becuase someone might follow where his emotions may take him to that mortal sin called murder.
