Something like 86% of Americans favor expanding background checks. The GOP obstruction is a small setback now, but will be the gift that keeps on giving in 2014 and 2016 for Democrats.
If 90% of people supported the checks, then that means most Republicans were shafted just as bad as the Democrats. Everyone lost, and no one won. I dont see what the GOP won with this move. Even LaPierre of NRA was a strong supporter the checks, except recently he has been opposing everything, much like the US Senators.
Liberals need to accept that Obama could only give this issue some of his attention, it wasn't his priority which is bringing in and giving citizenship to many millions of illegals as their reward for breaking our laws.
If some thug wants a gun I am sure the black market will get them anything special order. Maybe Holder can help them out. He passes guns to thugs under the guise of a government program.

That silly person has only seen guns on NCIS and thinks that's real life. My bet is he's never, ever been to a gun show. Yet he labors under the impression that he knows how they work. As always, he would be wrong.

Let's ban all guns and let the thugs win . They can break in any house without any fear of being shot by some law abiding citizen. Let's do that.. , no guns at all.. just let the black market have all the sales.
