Wrong. The fourth amendment also refers to search of the "person" without probable cause.
again that only refers to law enforcement stopping you on the street and searching you for no reason. there is a reason for a search at the airport and that is one of security. but again it doesnt apply because flying is a privilege and NOT a right. as such there are rules you have to follow and one of those rules is you get patted down before you get on the airplane.
also the only way the TSA would violate the fourth amendment is if they seized something that is not on the contraband list. for instance that cant take your medications and the instruments you use to take those meds. example i am an insulin dependent diabetic, thus i can take my insulin vials along with the syringes in need to take the insulin along with me in my carry on luggage.
on the other hand i cannot take a survival knife with me in my carry on luggage, and thus they would be right to seize the knife.

Most activities of daily living are a privilege, not a right. Does that mean they also have a right to search my car just because driving it is a privilege and not a right?

that depends, did you stop at a check point and give the leos reason to search? did the officer ask if they could search your vehicle and you let them? did they have probable cause to search your vehicle? when you buy an airline ticket, you give them probable cause to search you according to the rules set down. remember you are getting on a PRIVATELY OWNED aircraft, from a government run airport. if you want to fly without being searched, hire an air taxi instead, then you dont have to be searched.
p.s. its a bit scary when finn and i agree on things.
We have been searched ever since the courts ruled there is no Constitutional issues with it.
