Anglican school where 75% of the pupils are Muslim drops Christian hymns from assemblies | Mail Online

"Hymns have been dropped from assemblies at a Church of England school which has also introduced separate prayer rooms for girls and boys to cater to its mostly Muslim students.

Daily assemblies at Slough and Eton Church of England Business and Enterprise College, where 75 per cent of pupils are Muslim, are not based specifically on the Bible, but may make reference to it alongside other religious texts.

75% of the student population is not "minority".

If they want to stay in business they have to cater to the majority.

The Brits have turned from God sadly not surprising that in its wake a more vibrant militant religion is filling the void.

If a Christian school has a student body that is 75% Muslim then it really isn't a Christian school any longer.

Did it escape your notice that the article is about a school in England?

Seems like what they have now is a Muslim school that is administered by the Church of England.

The Brits? Take a stroll through Dearborn Mi. then come back and talk about the "Brits".

Westboro church represent what you think of as religion?

Have you ever stayed in a Miami hotel prior to taking a cruise and been told not to leave the immediate hotel environs "for your own safety". That was our welcoming speech there as early as 1980.

LMAO@ "turned from God."

Yeah...cuz the Brits have historically always behaved in a way that God would approve of.

Anyway, I don't understand why an Anglican school would accept so many Muslim students that the nature of the school would change. In that case, why even have the school? If Britain has become so secular that you can't get enough Christian kids to fill most of the slots, you may as well close the school and call it a day. Just become Sweden or Denmark and don't even attempt to fake it anymore. If I'm not mistaken, the government subsidizes Anglican schools anyway. They may as well stop wasting their money. That country is full blown secular except for the Muslim population, and I damn sure wouldn't be funding their schools either.

What's wrong with Dearborn? My brother lives there. So does my uncle. Nice town.
