Actually... according to the right Obama's election was supposed to change that... him being all Muslimish and all. But heck, subsisting almost entirely on Hateraide has never been known to help people keep their thinking straight.
Who said electing Obama would heal all the problems and make Muslims love the US?
I'm pretty sure it was righties claiming that Muslims were ecstatic over a Muslim being elected President and that he was going to enact Sharia law, end the war on terror, etc, in order to mollify the Muslims.
Were Obama shown to be loved amongst the Muslims, we would have seen a thread complaining about that instead.
I don't remember that claim in either of the elections. I think this might be another false promise that was created by the right. Anyone with common sense would tell you that it is going to take generations to repair the damages we have done to the Middle East.

That makes more sense with claims of Obama the Muslim/crazy Christian/socialist atheist from the right...

This is news to me, please provide evidence of this.
Obama has continually stated that he seeks an improved relationship with the Muslim world. Of course it comes as no surprise that he has completely failed.

When the vast majority of American Muslims voted for Obama, the OP's theory does carry some weight.
I thought Barack was fixing all this. Have Hope & Change met their nemesis in Reality & Epic Failure?
The entire world was ecstatic that Obama was elected because finally Bush, who strained relations with European allies and much of the Arab world, was gone.
But Obama wasn't about to throw Israel under the bus, as the Arabs hoped, and has been even more aggressive dealing with terrorists than Bush was.
