I was just wondering if you people are really serious.
A Harris Poll in march found that 57% of republicans think Obama is a Muslim. I'm sure a similar or larger percentage think he is a Marxist.
But here is what Karl Marx says about religion: "The abolition of religion as the illusory happiness of the people is required for their real happiness."
So which is he? A Muslim, a Marxist, or somehow.... BOTH?!
ie, tea party. Let's not forget that these same people criticize Obama for attending a certain Christian Church for 20 something years. He was also accused of being a Socialist who favors corporations and a Nazi who hates White people.
But soon enough, the results did come out, and they were promptly and persuasively skewered by, among others, Gary Langer, the polling director for ABC News. Langer’s post clearly summarizes various shortcomings of the poll, from its approach to sampling to the way it persistently pushed respondents toward more extreme positions through “a highly manipulative approach to questionnaire design.
The survey, done by Harris Interactive, apparently was designed to test the theories in a book claiming the “lunatic fringe is hijacking America.” The purpose seems to have been to see how many people the pollsters could get to agree to pejorative statements about Obama. Quite a few, it turns out – but with what I see as a highly manipulative approach to questionnaire design.

He's not the worlds' first. Geez, why does the left need to make everything abot this usurper "historical" .
Because of idiots who use words like usurper when referring to a democratically elected official, whose election was certified by both the electoral college, and the highest legislative body in the country.
