Weird that there's so many violent protests there. You'd think France would be first in line for gay marriage.

Not everything is achieved with violence. Look at the other 13 countries, all done peacefully.

Dear me, the defenders of morality and decency do seem to harbor some real a-holes in their midst, don't they?

Clashing with the riot police is SOP for a Paris protest, that doesn't surprise anyone, least of all the riot police. Death threats are different kettle of fish. Ah well, they'll get over it.

The violent anti-gay movement is tied to Catholic organizations. And they say Christianity is the religion of peace.

haha. Just throwing out that since people keep saying the same thing about Islam.

It is, however, rather unusual that this violence is coming from the right. Usually it's leftists doing the rioting.

I guess it's just a French thing rather than a left/right thing.
