I wish we would do it, just BAM! Do it. None of this "ease into it" crap. Once it's done people will adapt. And I'm speaking as someone over 50 who doesn't know a damn things about metrics. Unless my brain is totally dead it will adapt and learn and that is the only way our country will ever do anything. It has to be forced upon us since no two people can agree to anything.

Lets compromise by mixing and matching. For example, my vehicle can get 749 "kilorods" per hogshead of fuel, or 0.02451 "kilomiles" per "microhogshead."
