This article examines the possibility that FBI counter-terrorism officials failed to understand the risk Tamerlan Tsarnaev posed because of FBI training. "FBI training manuals were systematically purged in 2011 of all references to Islam that were judged offensive by a specially created five-member panel."
This is shocking, and to make it worse, "Three of the panel members were Muslim advocates from outside the FBI, which still refuses to make public their identities."
WTF is the Obama administration doing? They actually permitted the enemy to come in and hollow out our defenses from within against the threat posed by radical Islam. This isn't even bad judgment, this is treason.
Welcome, ladies and gentlemen, to another exciting episode of "Meanwhile, Back in the Real World..."
In 2011, it was discovered that several documents that the FBI used for training agents were full of false information about muslims, including the claim that "mainstream" Islam was "violent", and would "Create a 7th-Century Arabian State". They also used explicitly ani-Islam books for training purposes. Most counterterrorism experts pointed out that this can create many problems, such as wasting time on muslims who are doing nothing wrong, and alienating the US Islamic community to the point where they're wary of law enforcement and (unlike the recent thwarted attack in Canada) unwilling to cooperate with authorities (as has happened in NYC, due to the city's extensive spying program - as well as by people who thoughtlessly, and against evidence, refer to all muslims as "the enemy").
In other words, the cleanup wasn't only about being nice, but also about being able to accurately pick out the actual threats and focus resources on them. And it was this concern that led FBI agents, who underwent the training, to blow the whistle on it.
But there's also a basic timeline problem - many of these materials were still being used in FBI training when the FBI investigated Tsarnaev back in 2011. So if the materials would have led the FBI to picking him out as dangerous, they would have picked him out as dangerous.
Dont forget Fort Hood. That was pure political correctness that allowed that to happen. But noooooo, we cant talk about that. Look how quick the media moved past that incident. Ever wonder why? Simply because they did not want to shine a light on all the signs that were missed........ON PURPOSE due to Political Correct bull crap!
Yet they have no issue with using kids that were murdered to push gun control for months and months. We are doomed until our loudest, far reaching media changes. Period.

: smack:
In case you failed to notice, there was a bombing in Boston last week. So how in the **** did this neutering of the FBI training manual help "to accurately pick out the actual threats and focus resources on them?"
: smack:
And your proof that these manuals were still being used in 2011???????
Let me guess....anything to defend the Messiah Obama....right???????
There is just no freakin excuse for the FBI on this file. They were warned by the Russian security service and if they were on the ball in the LEAST they would have been all over this like a dirty shirt. I mean the USA has a near POLICE STATE since
9\11. Hundreds of billions of dollars spent on terrorist related intellegence and they have two bad guys handed them on a sliver platter and WHAT???????? THEY IGNORE IT AND THEM. Heads should roll over this major screwup.
In other words, the cleanup wasn't only about being nice, but also about being able to accurately pick out the actual threats and focus resources on them.
Worked out well, didn't it...just like CAIR planned. You could say, Obama's chickens are coming home to roost (but do it with a Rev Wright inflection).

Hooray for political correctness!
Now we can focus on the real threat...95 yr-olds in wheel chairs who might be hiding a bomb in their adult diaper.
