I've heard from republicans over the last 4 years that liberal policies are a failure. They use California and Detroit as the primary examples of liberal policy gone wrong. Now if I were to bring up a state like Kentucky, I'll get one of two responses: 1. you have to look at the individual cities themselves, and look at policies and/or demographics. 2. Well its because of Obama's liberal policies that hurt states and local government. So, GOP, I ask you, which is it? Is it local, state, or federal government that best represents policies for liberals and conservatives?
