What makes you say that? Did the guy then set up a tent and start camping?

Not sure why the gunman was upset? too many traffic tickets?

Anyway, what bothers me - this occured on March 10th and is out today in the media on May 4th.

Why did the cops wait until more than a month to release this information??
Possibly because of an investigation? That's my wild guess.
Many details of shootings are kept under wraps until an investigation has been completed.

The same is almost true when police investigate traffic accidents, stabbings, and so forth where a fatality has occurred.

Exhibit 1 ^^^

And the left wonders why we can not have a rational conversation about guns.

Keep up the great work of showing how ignorant the left is on guns....you're doing a fine job!

Maybe we should legalize RPGs? Make the Police much more polite?
Exhibit 2 ^^^

Thanks, but I am quite familiar with the specs on the AK. Lol. I have had a couple, myself. Romanian WASR variants, which are better examples of the breed than others. I got rid of them, though. I'm not fond of the AK as a shooter. Oh, its fun, I guess, but I like more accuracy out of my rifles.

At any rate, if this guy fired 37 rounds, he either changed mags, or was using a 40 rounder. It doesn't seem, to me anyway, that he was actually serious about killing the officers. At that range, even a semblance of aiming his fire, should have resulted in at least a couple hits. . I don't see evidence that this weapon was full auto. Full auto AK fire is VERY distinctive. I highly doubt this was a registered, title 3 piece. To my knowledge, if it were, it would be the first time a legally owned full auto piece has been used in a crime.

Excluding the many automatic weapons used by the government at the Waco massacre and other such occurences.

I did some digging. His AK was semi-auto with a 40 round magazine. He hit both officers. He then paused and yelled "kill me". They complied with his request.

Clearly the cops need RPGs to use on these patriots exercising their 2nd amendment freedoms. To use NRA's own logic, best defense here is a strong enough response. Militants with automatic weapons need to vanish in an explosion. Shock and awe. Best treatment for them.
