@ 0:50 in that speech Paul announces...

"Frankly, my toilets don't work in my house."

Very concerning since he's full of sh*t.

How some people do try to just take jabs, when the truth is presented to them.

Asking a Bureaucrat if she is "Pro-choice" is moronic. What is it with people and light bulbs? How many of you still have rotary phones or tube televisons in your homes?

Technology moves on.

BTW, I still can find incandescent bulbs along with lamp oil.

He is right. Rand hits the nail on the head. The products they push on us do not work right and cost more money. For example, Low flush toilets don't work right and people end up flushing them several times, wasting more water than if one had older style toilets. This is all courtesy of Uncle Sam.

1st generation toilets may have not, but newer toilets work just fine. I ve insdtalled 2 in the past two years bad have had no problems...

shell out the 150 for a new one, buy Crane USA.

As America Crane 1.1 GPF White Round EconoMiser One Pressure Assist Toilet Bowl

My 5 gallon tank toilets didn't work all that well either.

Your missed the point. We already changed over to the CFL bulbs on our outdoor lights a long time ago..I DON'T NEED THE GOVERNMENT TELLING ME I HAVE TO! The point you are forgetting is that it should be up to the consumer. There are rooms in my house where I don't want a cfl in because they would be possibly knocked over and I then have to deal with mercury. What he said about the toliets are 100% true. For the longest time the government mandated, lower water restrictions and what did they accomplish? People just flushed and flushed and a product that did not work.

We have the same thing going on with cars. Much smaller gas tanks, no spare tire etc, because the government puts more regulations. Let the frickin consumer choose. When gas prices get high enough, the consumer will choose a fuel efficient car, without the idiots in government making a new law.
