Nobody cares that the tea party had to fill out more IRS forms.
It's not "more forms" that were the issue. It was the intrusion. It was asking questions that they didn't ask of other non-conservative groups. It was the fact that the conservative groups were not treated "equally".
If you think that's OK, then just replace "tea party" with "environmental" or "global warming", and we'd see the explosion of outrage from the left.
The only reason the left thinks the outrage is fake is because they believe that conservative groups SHOULD be targeted.
President Obama has class. He is willing to take responsibility even where it is not required. He holds himself to a higher standard than most Presidents in history. That is why the American people trust and like him.
You truly believe this? Please share with me ANYTHING this president has take responsibility for. All I hear him do is blame and plead ignorance.
The question does not ask " if Republicans are acting correctly", it ask if Republicans have overreacted.
I believe an investigation was needed to find out what went wrong and how to prevent it, it doesnt mean i think Republicans are correct in how they are doing it.

Benghazi – 4 Americans killed. Yes. The first such attack in almost 5 yrs. There were 13 such attacks under Bush, some of which occurred TWICE at the same location. NOT ONE INQUIRY on those attacks, and over 60 deaths! Manufactured by Republican led CIA and GOP doctored emails.
AP – Perfectly legal under the Patriot Act and NDAA, both passed by the Bush Administration. "Unprecedented" yes due to the severity of the National Security leak, "trampling their 1st Amendment rights" does not include protection of treasonous activity.
IRS – IRS did NOT ADMIT targeting Obama's political opponents. They admitted and reported (almost a YEAR ago) that conservative groups with words such as "tea" or "patriot" in their name were scrutinized more thoroughly than others. We all know that this had nothing to do with tax-exempt status and more about pushing the envelope to see if they could get away with HIDING DONOR names (violations of law, BTW) they were given extra scrutiny. None were denied if the doc was provided.
So absolutely manufactured scandals. Convenient timing, and that these scandals rely on the extreme bigotry and ignorance exhibited by red state right wing voters who are too busy looking to blame someone for the predicament they themselves created, rather than working toward a solution. Many of us are really tired of the endless unfounded fusillade of garbage being thrown at the POTUS.

The IRS - you apparently went to the Bill Clinton school of "definitions". So political opponents are not the same as conservative groups? And scrutinized is not the same as targeting?
Why were they more interested in finding hidden donor names of conservative groups as opposed to liberal?
And many of us are tired of the corrupt and tyrannical behavior of the POTUS.

Dr Afridi is being tortured and he and his family has pleaded for help and the Obama administration refuses to help. This is very upsetting.
