You keep doing that. You'll do it to the wrong person someday and then we won't have to read your comments on here anymore.
Yeah, I am not worried about that because people are too afraid to get out of their car to do anything about it, and it would be a stupid thing to go to jail over.
Oh sweetie, I give you the finger and keep on riding, I really don't care what your reaction is to that.
All this angst over an improper situation existing, i.e. toys being used in a place where vehicles are used. Same thing would happen if we tried to mix airplanes and cars on runways.
You'll be driving? WTF!!!!??? How can you drive one of those evil nasty cars when you could and should be biking?
This isn't all or nothing, one can own a bike and a car and use both for commuting. I have been doing that for years, though currently I no longer have a car.
But I will say, given the rise in obesity, etc., finding different ways to get to work would be great.
When I was a college kids. I had a little truck, and I would throw the bike in the back. I would drive to a bout a mile from campus at 7 am, then every errand, trip during the day was on that damn bike. It was cool, but a campus usually has extensive carless areas, so it was kind of ideal.
Great for your health is you can swing it. But several militant bike commuters I have known are dead. Bikes and traffic are a deadly mix.
Sometimes parents will tell their kids to do that sort of thing.
Oh a highway? With speed limits of 60mph? I will only ride on those roads if there is a separate bike lane or a large enough should to ride on and still be safe. Almost all of my bike riding is inner city biking and I was typically moving at the speed limit that cars go by.
I'm sure sure what your point is other than to distract from the fact you are paying ZERO cost while criticizing others for paying a small portion..
I drive 60+ miles per day to work.
Again, when you travel onto county and city roads in other vicinities, you are paying nothing towards maintenance while using the roads.
