and even if you are right, obama did choose to view winning the popularity contest as an accomplishment. not only is it not humble, it's pathetic. our president is 8 years old apparently.

I am just waiting for a conservative to come and say Republicans deserve all the credit for this because the umbrella scandal scared Obama so much that he didn't do what he did to be nice, but rather because he was afraid of them and congressional hearings about the not saluting.

republicans deserve credit for nothing. obama being an ineffective president has nothing to do with them.

It would seem that if Thomas Jefferson's tombstone is being used for some kind of comparison, logically the proper comparison would be tombstone to tombstone? Yes?

Given that Obama is .. 51? 52? - this comparison is likely 20-30 years too early.
