A black woman in police custody was beaten by two white cops in Jasper Texas, the same town where a black man was dragged to his death behind a pickup truck years ago.
The city also hired a black police chief, but he didn't last long either, they fired him.
Jasper made national headlines in 1998 when a black man was chained to a pick-up truck and dragged to his death by three white men.

Police were wrong, but a good way not to get beaten is to pay your fines and keep your big mouth shut. Oh, and by the way, don't antagonize the police. She did everything wrong. I doubt it was racism, this could have just as easily been a white guy.

There are TONS of black women in that jail. There are TONS of white women. Do you REALLY think she was targeted because she was black? I dont think so.

Well, I have to admit, Jasper Texas IS showing a pattern here.
I doubt the firing was racially motivated. I assume the city council realized the guy was black before they hired him. If it was about race he never would of got the job in the first place.
As far as the lady in jail. I'd say it is much more likely a black person will get beat by a cop than other people. The easiest way too solve that problem is to privatize the criminal justice system as businesses do not make a habit of beating up their customers.
I always thought it was strange how liberals and particulary blacks want this giganti. c, unaccountable, centralized government. Then they act all surprised when people get beat up by police. The bigger and more powerful government is thre more abuses that will occur.
