A function of the dissatisfaction that primarily rural counties feel about the liberal policies their state government has implemented.

Conservatives have no one but themselves to blame for their flagging power in Colorado or in the country, for that matter. Instead of focusing on ideas of fiscal responsibility and better government they have waged divisive cultural wars on minorities, on women, on poor people to get out the vote. The plan back-fired with changing demographics. So they have lost Colorado, Nevada, and New Mexico and will soon enough lose Texas and Arizona unless they get away from the race-baiting, hate-mongering, and feigned piety and get back to center. The extremists on the right are handing this country to the liberals on a silver platter.

What makes them think we'd admit them into the Union? The US has too many parisitic Red States now.

If Rural Northren Colorado Residents would like to secede, then they should have to purchase every utility and public infrastructure purchased by all Colorados. Every Road, bridge, highway, telephone pole, sewer system, water and power plants in the area.

Otherwise, shut up.

Once the undocumented Democrats become legal then you can sign them up to vote for your side.

When undocumented aliens ever get to become US citizens, they are free to vote for whomever they wish...Even Republicans.

Wanting to secure our borders, know exactly who is in the country, and ensure that new immigrants to this country are fingerprinted, have health inspections and criminal background checks, and have the skills/education/financial resources to not be a burden to this country (all of which occur for legal immigrants) cannot be interpreted as being a war on minorities.

Calling for those who vote to have a picture ID to prove they are who they say they are, is not a war on minorities.

Calling for greater accountability for those who are in the welfare system is neither a war on minorities nor a war on the poor.

There are women in the world who are forced to have abortions. There are women in the world who can be legally murdered by family members if those family members feel that she has dishonored their family in some way. There are women in the world who are routinely sexually mutilated, who can be legally (and without recourse) raped, who are sold into slavery, who can be legally beaten or murdered if they speak out against injustice. THOSE women face a War On Women. Not people like Sandra Fluke.

Where was the outcry from women's groups when the abortion doctor kept hands and feet in jars? Where was the outcry from womens' groups when it became known that women were receiving abortions in this country at abortion clinics that have not received oversight for YEARS? When untrained kids and single women were administering drugs and cutting the spinal columns of infants that did not die during the abortion? Instead of DEMANDING stricter oversight, they were dressing up like vaginas outside the GOP convention and watching Sandra Fluke whine about her birth control costs at the DNC convention. Hypocrits.
