All Congressmen cna also inside trade, and it's legal. Why aren't you also in an uproar about that? Oh yeah, because Republicans have their hand in the cookie jar too, isn't that right, Mr. XXX?

Didn't they have this insider trading law that they (both congress and president) REPEALED?

...Guess not enough people were angry then.

There are many of us that have complained about this many times. It's so stupid to try and dismiss stuff like this because of your partisan politics.

Is this something that should be allowed? Either defend it or condemn it. Someone elses position should not determine yours. So tell us, what is yours?

The repealing of the law happened not too long ago, but something was used to distract people, I forget what. It wasn't the main story.

I voted for my particular Rep because the previous one had a ton of baggage because of being in Congress for far too long. My Rep voted to rescind the insider trading rules and because of that and unfortunately other things also, I will never vote for him again.

I'm not going to try and defend him because someone else might try and defend the actions of someone else.

I don't think the law was repealed for government workers. Just congress critters.

Because it was passed with no debate. There was no discussion about it. It was quickly brought up, passed and sent to Obama to sign which he did.

The ordeal took about 10 seconds in the Senate and 14 seconds in the House, according to official records.

I remember when they passed rules against insider trading they made it look like they were doing something good. Turns out they were just dirty slime balls posing for votes.
