And? What cell do you put them in. If a Female transgender demands to placed in male population, then what? Even the reverse.. There is no way they can be watched all the time, so what? We place them in solitary confinement for their protection?
Do we designate special cells? Here's the cell for men, the women, the male homosexual, the female homosexual, the male transgender, the female transgender.. THEN we are going to have lawsuits from people stating they are being treated differently by being placed away from general population, and people stare at them, they should be with everyone else, they should be separated for their safety, a man wants a women to give him a patdown in the genital area because he feels more comfortable with that, etc etc.

So since it poses challenges to hold a transgender or homosexual person they should be just shot in the back of the head for any conviction?
Obviously a transgender person would be more at risk than the average guy in jail. Given that they are pretty rare in the population, it doesn't seem like much of an extra burdern on society to have a few special procedures in place for them.
basically, if it was born with a dick then it's a man, so a mans cell he shall go to.
Sure, this one would fare well in a mens' cell.
