Take from it that which you like.

HUMINSKI v. CORSONES, Docket Nos.
Sweet! Exactly what I was looking for. For takeway I may use this as my sig line:

"In traversing these waters, we must avoid foundering on either of opposing shoals"

I don't know what the exchange between this guy and the cops were. Between the facebook posting and lying in court I suppose that would make the cop's actions reasonable. Though unless he threatened the judge (which he'd be in jail for) they should rescind the warning after the trial is over.

The immunity that the cops had in the case you cited was only because the law wasn't settled at that time. Cops cannot count on immunity once they should know better.

thanks

E7 has a legitimate concern and did not come back armed and dangerous. No information that can identify a potential juror should be released by the court. The judge made a big mistake by mentioning the website name and date where he posted on an open microphone. He returned to the courthouse to warn the jury pool that they could be outed. It was mentioned on TV that potential jurors come stunned into the room not knowing what to expect, who will be there, or that there are TV cameras. E7 lied to the court, and shouldn't have come back, but he still has a right to not be identified. The judge screwed up. The mike should have been off or she shouldn't have said the details out loud.

I understand what you're saying right up to the last part. How is it a right to participate in government secretly?

If it is a right by law then he should be talking to a lawyer but wouldn't due to the jeopardy of pushing things (though he pushed things).
