There could be several reasons for Hastings demise if it was indeed foul play. First, you don’t generally bring down a big-time general and go unscathed. I suspect that’s why political comedian Bill Maher warned Hastings, “Watch your back my friend”.

The other side of the coin is the fact that Hastings wrote about military psyops programs being used on members of Congress to make them receptive to continuing the war in Afghanistan, and some speculate that the NSA along with the CIA have been using similar psychotronic devices on innocent US citizens. Perhaps Hastings was going to divulge more information on that front.

It could always be that Hastings fiery car crash is truly just a freak accident but many people don’t believe that.

It would be interesting to see if any street cams recorded his drive or his speed. Weird accident no matter what though.

So from the picture of a burnt car, you deduced that A) he was speeding B) he was speeding so fast that you don't have any sympathy for his invariably horrible death.

U and Ed from California should hang out. You both sound like great people. And he'll be fascinated to know you also double as a forensics expert, so you'll have that to talk about.

A brand new Mercedes where the motor and transmission was thrown 60 feet from the car?

There was more to it than "hitting a tree".

It was a case of, make the foul play obvious.

A witness said he was driving fast. You dont wreck your car into a tree on a straight road, have your engine go flying, etc if you were driving correctly.

No, no sympathy. I sick if reading about and seeing deadly crashes on our roads. In most cases, people risking other innocent lives while driving like jerks

One less liberal freak propagandist. How can that be construed as a bad thing?

Must be something in Wasilla water that produces such patriotic beleivers in the Constitution, eh? Don't forget to wear your little lapel pin so you can be spotted.

In twitter the speculation is that he was texting as well.
