Reagan was no liberal, and some of his policies, especially concerning Central America, were rather awful. But he was a basically decent and competent person and was actually fond of the whole country, not just Podunk small towns. His diplomacy with Gorbachev was superb, except for the famous blunder at Reykjavik. Can you imagine Palin conducting delicate diplomacy?
Only by the ignorant. Palin is an American Patriot who runs circles around Obama in terms of political acumen. Additionally, she is honest, a Christian (who knows what Obama is?), understands our history, understands what the founders established and why, and what it means to be free. Most liberals, and especially Mr. Obama, have no such understanding.
