This doesn't really come off as a shock to me, but I'm sure the Fascist loyalists will chime in about how it doesn't really matter if you don't have anything to hide...
I had a feeling they weren't being discriminate from the get-go, since the law was worded so one sided, to pretty much let the Gov't spy on anyone that has ever 'dreamt' of calling someone overseas (or vice versa), lol. But count on them to violate their own contract eh? Next thing I can't wait to find out is what's in that box that Cheney busted his chops moving around in his office, and thus requiring the wheelchair during the inauguration... lost emails anybody?
The crazy thing is after 8 years of Bush rule, its not shocking.

And by addressed I hope you mean that it needs to be "prosecuted" to the full extent of the law.
And yes, absolutely no surprise at all. I just don't understand those that can't see Bush and his administration for what they were, a corrupt bunch of bastards raiding this country like a gang of drunken pirates (or Wall St. executives) and not giving a damn about all those they destroyed.

Why do you think Arlen Specter, despite aproving of Eric Holder as nominee for Attorney general, will try to delay his appointment.....has to do with the statute of limitations.....and Karl Rove....

Get rid of the federal government. If anyone thinks this has or will stop, they are fooling themselves. The government will simply conceal their tyranny better now.
