A cop shows up at your door tonight and asks you to come outside. You refuse.
Is the conversation over? Will you be forced to come outside?
Are you free? or do you have the illusion of being free?
Hint. It's an illusion.

Everybody who isn't completely gape-jawed stupid knows this country isn't worth fighting for anymore.

It's all over.

So what's the solution?

Well, we all know that too...

but...

Don't have to go outside. If you go outside they can find an excuse to arrest you. Stay inside, door open and chat, but don't cross the threshold or let them in. They can only come in with a warrant or if they have probable cause like screams or fighting.

You could do what I do when the religious groups knock - don't go to the door.

[and go back to bed...it's Sunday for cryin' out loud!]

Cops can bust in with no reciprocations. Depends on where you live.

Realistically though OP if a cop knocks w/o a warrant you don't have to answer. If he breaks down your door without a warrant, execute him/her. It's your right, assuming a woman didn't call and claim she was being beaten (the only realistic exception)

If that is the case, I suggest you move to a better place, but you don't have to answer the door and I wouldn't without a warrant.. I just sit there in my chair sipping my coffee....
