by law yes it does have to be taken seriously (in states that recognize same sex marriages). Sorry if you find that making medical decisions on behalf of your spouse, a joke.

and your bigotry is hysterical.

Only to closed minded bigots.

And they have the same rights as you. They earned the right to get married by just being born. The same as you.

For what? wanting equality for everyone?

oh lookee, the gay basher is floundering.

none of that was considered a rational thought. thanks for our time though.

In the early days of gay liberation they also marched with Nambla which is an organization that wants to have sex with young boys.. the gays separated from them in order to get more acceptance.. next the gays will again march with Nambla... one step at a time for acceptance.

I know this is difficult for you to understand. you can sign a state contract. most people will never consider you married. for the rest of your "married" life, people will laugh right in your face. including friends you invited to the wedding.

I think there is one reason and one reason only- almost everyone who isn't living in rural Kansas or who has hate in the heart sees that homosexuals en masse seem to be very nice, hard working people who just want to be left alone.

Compare the struggle of homosexuals to the struggle of African Americans.

One group comes into the neighborhood, crime goes down, property values go through the roof. Countless examples. The other group comes into the neighborhood, it ceases to even be a neighborhood in a few short years. Crime skyrockets. Also countless examples.

Why is one group struggling to gain income mobility and the other already encompasses half the ruling class? Well, a variety of reasons to be fair. Not insignificant however is the fact that homosexual "culture" was based around convincing people with kindness, being non-violent, working hard, cultivating large numbers with undeniable talents in certain fields (fashion, home design, etc..its a cliche because it's true). The other? Well...

You're a liar.

Equating child rape with two adults trying to love each other and find peace...what a horrible man you are...

the same type of contract that heterosexuals sign: a marriage license.

I don't care what other people think, who do not know these couples. The only people that should care, is the GOVERNMENT in recognizing the marriage and providing the 1300+ benefits that come with marriage and whomever is related or friends of the couple who do care.

I know 5 gay couples who were married before Prop 8 was passed. No one is laughing at them. Many are supporting them in hopes that Prop 8 gets overturned and DOMA gets shot down.

funny, the same sex marriage ceremony I attended, no one was laughing at the couple being married. Much hilarity happened afterwards at the expense of the guests, but no one laughed at the married couple. Many expressed well wishes.

by the way, I'm straight.

they want to be left alone so badly that they close down cities to have parades celebrating their gayness.

While the APA has stated that they are unable to determine the cause(s) of homosexuality, it is understood that humans have developed an innate behavioral immune system that uses the emotion of disgust to keep things likely to be ripe with bacteria, viruses and parasites such as diseased persons, rotting flesh or feces far way from our bodies.

Unusual sexual practices and the people who practice them are also on the list of things to avoid as novel pathogens are efficiently spread by these people to sex partners and possibly others, so try not to take it personally and understand that the person expressing disgust with homosexuality was born with this trait and can do little or nothing to change it.
