In the last year 100% of the couples I married were living together before their marriage. Not a stat that can be extrapolated to the general population, but certainly tells me that it isn't an issue.
Then God should surely smite them, as they are living in sin.
And if they profess to be Christians then they are just lying.
If there is a God watching all of this, then I guess we will see what happens to them.
Are they hurting anybody by believing in Christianity and not saving themselves for marriage? A better question is are we in any position to judge people's actions and what is in ther hearts? If they were hurting people it would be an issue, but nobody is perfect.
The OP simply hates Christians and wants to point out the hypocrisy. Yes, it is hypocrisy, but a lot of people who call themselves Christians really don't live as such.
I wish atheists would give believers the same tolerance that they demand believers give them, even if you do think its a backwards, irrational belief.
Most Christians did wait until they were married until the 1960s. It's not Christianity thats the problem but the people
who pick and choose what to believe.

Why is this?
Is it because the dogma of the Bible is just a lie, or is it because these supposed do-gooders are merely pagans in disguise?

Christianity still teaches that you should wait until marriage, its just that many people don't. I know where the OP was originally going with this - he is trying to point out the hypocrisy on this issue and relate it somehow to homosexuality and gay marriage. I want to point out that even young people that have stayed faithful, support for gay marriage is rising. The days of angry, anti-gay protester is numbered. Plus, they are such a minority why does everybody care so much about them?
