So, women 34, kid 14, woman seduces/rapes kid, gets pregnant, gets sent to jail, gets out of jail, gets custody of kid, and then sues her victim for child support?
Indeed this is the case for now 19-year-old Jeremy Steen of Lincoln, Nebraska. In 2008 Steen was seduced and raped by his 34-year-old baby sitter Linda Kazinsky. After the police were alerted Ms. Kazinsky was charged with statutory rape and false imprisonment.
After Kazinsky’s release from Nebraska’s state prison system 4 years later she was able to regain custody of her child whom had been living with her sister. Kazinsky promptly filed for Aid and Government assistance which in turn landed Jeremy with a subpena for child support.
Jeremy had his day in court and was ordered to pay $475 a month in child support to Linda Kazinsky as well as a whopping $23,000 in back Child Support payments.
Welcome to adulthood kid.
Awful isn't it? This is sort of like when a female rape victim gets stuck giving birth to and rearing the rapist's child.
Actually, it isn't. Rape is a horrible crime, and if it happens to a woman, there are steps that are available to prevent pregnancy if the woman chooses that route. If she chooses not to, and decides to give birth, she can choose to place the child up for adoption.
In other words, the woman has choices. He did not in this case.
That's a tough situation. The boy was a victim, but the child shouldn't be punished for the crime by going without. Hmm... I'm up in the air on this one.
I might have to call BS on this story, I think this might be a fake internet story because when you Google the names and Nebraska, no actual news sources show up, not even Nebraska local news, just these two random internet sites.
So if this is a real story, it would be nice to read it from a real new source, if anyone can find it.
I had a friend that was making some really good money playing with a band that toured nationally, it was a tribute band but they got crowds in the thousands. He decided to do the right thing and quit so he could spend time raising his kid. The Mother left him shortly after, the Judge based his child support on what he was making before.... he didn't have a penny left for himself and the Judge didn't want to hear a thing about it.

That's a sad story, but not what the article is about.

I also don't think the article is real, I think it might be a fake story created and spread on the internet.
