There are no christians that are using their religious faith to justify the slaughter of thousands of people.
There are more than 100 million muslims who do exactly that.
There is no moral equivalency.
Islam has a problem. Muslims need to fix it. thier faith allows for killing in the name of their god.

My beliefs are pretty simple: not all Muslims are terrorists, but the vast majority have varying degrees of sympathy for them up to and including outright support. I think most Muslims at least privately sympathize with these terrorists even if they may publicly claim otherwise.

The great majority of Muslim leaders remain silent in the face of Muslim terror.
In fact, the largest Muslim organization in the US, CAIR, supports terrorists and has been legally linked to the money laundering of funds to terrorists.
It's a war of civilizations. Most Muslims despise liberal and democratic societies.
Historically, Christians have killed tens of millions in the name of Christ but any reasonable person would have to admit that Christians have matured greatly over the last century while Muslims have not (I mean the 2% of Muslims that have no problem cutting kid's throats or executing cartoonists to please their God).
Completely false. Nobody has killed in the name of Christ because Christ himself was totally against any of that, so don't come and spread false accusations. Learn what Christianity stands for, and what Islam stands for and then come back.

so you have been going into churches and hearing sermons from preachers about going on holy war?
or are you taking the fact that 70ish percent of Americans claim to be christians and also a large number of American claim to support our military?
these are very different things. bottom line, there is no Christian sects out there using the bible to attack and kill. period.
There may be Americans who want to not die at the hands of muslims and therefore are happy to fight the enemy OVER THERE but that is NOT a christian thing. Thats a political thing.
The difference is Mulisms are killing BECAUSE of their faith. Christians might support their nation but they dont do so because of their faith.
Should we start killing all Muslims because a small percentage have done bad things? Or is that going too far for the OP? Just trying to figure out what the boundary is.
