Do you think that all Islamic nations with Sharia law and Islam as state religion will become democratic and secular in the future?

The odds of the United States changing over to shariah law and becoming an islamist state are much greater than what you are proposing in your question.

That is an assertion so insane it beggars the imagination. Islam has not been a serious threat to western hegemony since 1529.

Islam does not have the capacity to accomplish what you are hallucinating here. They are not an existential threat to us.

I'm sure they'll get right on that by the year 3287.

I'm not saying it will happen. I'm just comparing the two to show the absurdity of the concept of any hardline muslim nation becoming a secular democracy anytime in the foreseeable future.

They're currently running about 600 years behind Christianity on most things. But while their opportunity for an Islamic "Enlightenment" was strangled in its crib by al-Ghazai, technology has accelerated their progress to make up for it.

Right on schedule would be closer to 2376.

Well that's loading the deck, since only a handful of Muslim countries are actually "hard-line."

The deck was already loaded when the OP used the words "all" and "Shariah" in his question.

The odds of that ever happening are precisely zero. Where did you get that bizarre idea anyway?
