Yeah, I have a dream. A dream where we live in a country with a just, honorable legal system and leadership. A president with honor and integrity. One where a member of the press would ask the president what he's going to do about this illegal termination. One where race doesn't matter any more. Silly, I know.
Not going to happen. Eric Holder will not allow it. The IT guy followed instructions and handed over all the data he was suppose to do. The Prosecution disobeyed the law by not handing over all the data to the defense. When the IT guy realized the data didn't get to the defense, he followed proper channels and went to the court. And now he's being fired for doing the right thing. Doing what's right is never easy and corrupt people in power are making it more and more difficult to do what's right.

You are absolutely correct. And the purpose of the Justice Department is to ensure that state and local governments in particular play by the rules, by the law. The prosecutor's office broke the law at least twice. First by suppressing evidence they are legally required to make the defense aware of as part of discovery. And second, by illegally punishing the one person in the office that followed the law and did turn it over.

The question is how high did it go? Bernie D? Angela Cory? Why isn't someone in that office being prosecuted for civil rights violations?

Well, it's just grounds for one more civil suit for GZ.

I want to see someone in the press show just a shread of respectability and ask these questions of the administration.

Oh you must be referring to the Obama administration and how they reward those IRS agents.
