10% of Law School Graduates believe that the Prosecution made a better case than the George Zimmerman defense team. Conversely, 90% of the fans at Country Thunder believe that Jason Aldean is a great country singer. Who played the part of the fool?

Prosecution's case and witnesses were **** poor, and that was evident to a lot of people who didn't spend thousands of dollars on the degree.

I mean one prosecution witness after the other basically turned into a defense witness...even the police investigators. It was as if there were no pre-trial interviews or depositions. And since when do the police investigators state in open court that they firmly believed the defendant? No character witnesses were called on Trayvon's behalf. George Zimmerman' prior arrests for three violent crimes was not brought up during the trial. The prosecution did not object to the defense's computer animated version of what happened. Its as if they were permanently asleep during this trial and I am very ticked off that they did not give Trayvon Martin his day in court.

Something stinks to high heaven about all of this.

Not jumping on the conspiracy wagon but I felt all the prosecution witnesses fell apart during cross...its like no prep was done at all. I don't know how anyone felt they put on a better case than the defense....a more emotional case perhaps but from the start I didn't feel they were doing a good job at proving anything.

OP: where did u get this "10% of blah blah blah" did u make this up just to create another Zimmerman thread

The prosecution was asked to build a castle with cow patties and super glue. It isn't hard to see where Zimmerman went wrong here, but that does't mean he broke a law.

Media latched onto this and turned it into a spectacle.
Obama and the DOJ getting involved only made it worse.

The prosecutors could not prove intent, they could not prove this was a case of blatant murder.
But they had to please the court of public opinion which wanted to see Zimmerman behind bars for life.

A better case for media attention would have been that case in Georgia where the 2 youths shot that baby to death in the stroller and then later the accused's Mom and Aunt were arrested.

That should have sparked more public outrage yet it disappeared after a week of being in the headlines.

If they'd have gone for manslaughter to begin with...maybe.

But Jesse and Al wouldn't have allowed that.

It's because they were forced to build a case..after watching the trial and the facts came out...it was obvious the prosecution didn't have one. I certainly hope the State Attorney's office will lose seats over this...

This was a tragedy. Two people used poor judgement. There are no winners here, only losers, one who lost his life and one whose life will be forever negatively altered. But not all encounters that end negatively are crimes, sometimes they are just tragedies. Based on the evidence, the right verdict was reached.

As far as that 10%, there are crappy law schools and there is always the bottom of the class at every school, so why the surprise? The more telling stat is that it is ONLY 10%. That says much about the correctness of the verdict and also brings to question why there was even a trial to begin with.

So 90% of law school graduates did NOT think the prosecution made a better case?
