Harrier understands, but the point of charging him again is to gain a murder conviction, and it really doesn't make sense to that if the guy is put away for the rest of his life on the attempted murder and discharge of a firearm convictions.
If the second trial results in a guilty verdict, it would probably make a difference to the parents and to the people who loved Jordan. I saw Jordan's parents on TV and they handled themselves with grace and dignity. They must be very good people because they said they would pray for Dunn.
IMO, if they don't retry Dunn, it would be like sweeping the murder of Jordan under the carpet. OTOH, the jury could once again not reach an agreement, or possibly, but highly unlikely, a not guilty verdict.
At the end of the day he attempted to kill four people. He managed to kill one. If guilty for "attempting" to murder three out of four, why not guilty for murdering one?
The prosecutor is going to have to come up with a strong case against Dunn. The fact that they couldn't reach a verdict should be reason enough for her to up her game.
Another victim of thugs acting like thugs and him defending himself. He will get tossed under the prison to make the populace happy since Zimmerman RIGHTFULLY was acquitted...hope the AB is strong in Florida. In prison he will be the extreme minority hope he has friends or makes them real quick. I stand with you Michael we know what you did was defend yourself from them murdering you..unfortunately you got caught up in a witch hunt and along with a pos fiancee who wouldn't know what loyalty is if it hit her in the head you never had a chance. This will insure people won't defend themselves but will become victims of rape,robbery,murder,carjacking against all thugs rather than pump them full of lead and take a chance of some overzealous prosecutor trying to make a name for themselves and the race baiters screaming and crying over it.

You probably blame women for getting raped because of what they wear or being in a mans apartment alone. Jordan Davis wasn't a thug just because he was in a car that was blaring loud music. He was killed by an arrogant, hateful, racist vigilante who thought he was above the law and if you agree with what he did, well...birds of a feather...

These kids were minding their own business and didn't even get out of the car when Dunn fired 10 bullets into it. He thought he saw someone in the car with a gun and just let loose. No one had a gun though. People like him should not own guns.

You have no proof the kids were thugs of any kind.
They were teenagers playing loud music. Like that never happened in the history of the Universe.
If people can't handle kids out and about playing music in their own car then perhaps said people should stay at home where they can be as quiet as can be and don't find an opportunity to be so easily offended.
