It does not matter. Why did the guy pull up next to them and shot them? He could have drove away and/ or called police.
We're going to hear more about the SYG law. People going to be getting shot up over farting, not putting enough mayo on hamburgers, wearing white after labor day and more.

Except only some states have stand your ground laws. In other states you pretty much have to let someone kill you before you defend yourself.
It happened just before 2:00 p.m. Saturday afternoon at a home off of Velma Road. McMinn Sheriff Joe Guy said a woman shot her husband out of apparent self-defense.
Authorities said the victim, Robert Marshall, violated a protective order he was served just a couple of hours before he was shot.
Police said Marshall was irate, suicidal and armed Saturday morning. He was also apparently threatening his kids and his wife, Melissa Marshall.
I think Zimmerman is innocent but I do think that Dunn guy was guilty... his excuse was seeing a shotgun from the other car... I don't buy it... Zimmerman's account however is the more likely scenario..

I think where he will have some problems is that fact that after shooting 8 times he left the scene & never called the police. Then AFTER finding out someone was dead he chose to drive home.
