B37 seemed very sympathetic with George, and even said based on a hypothetical question that she would be happy to have him do Neighborhood Watch in her neighborhood!
She seems pretty educated... Preconceptions? You mean because she saw it the correct way, but not your way.... You must have what do you call it.... Preconceptions... Ironic...
Prosecution went for white guilt women and it backfired. They couldn't relate to or understand Martin's girlfriend. For a case that was supposed to be racially tinged, why didn't the prosecution push for a more diverse jury?
I have heard it said, if cynically, that a trial is over the minute the last juror is selected. All I can say at this point is that both sides had the chance to accept or reject jurors.

I don't blame the jurors. They did their job.
You can't challenge a juror based on their skin color. And you only get so many challenges.
Still. Seems like maybe a little more effort could have been made by the Prosecution.
One thing that stood out to me. How can you say you thought Zimmerman did the right thing, but then say he was wrong for leaving his vehicle? Hmm...she seemed to be a bit bias and definitely have some preconceived ideas of what happened.
Now that B37 has announced she will be writing a book about her experiences as a juror on the Zimmerman trial, and has been interviewed by Anderson Cooper, it seems to me that this trial may have been over the moment jury selection was completed.
It seems that B37 at least viewed this whole thing through her own pre-conceptions. She also mentioned stand-your-ground several times, and that wasn't even Zimmerman's defense.
What do you think?
If you think she's the first juror to write a book or be interviewed on a national network, I've got some ocean front land to sell you in Kansas.

No, I mean the fact that she used to have a concealed carry permit. I always thought that with B37 on the jury, there would never be a conviction.
Also, the way she spoke about Rachel Jeantel, that she couldn't understand the way she said things.
She is far removed from Rachel and Trayvon's world.

She also said that Trayvon had been looking into the windows of homes. Was there ANY testimony to that effect in the trial. Anyone?
I know Zimmerman said that Trayvon was just "looking around." But I never heard "looking into windows." Did anyone see that in the trial?

As I just posted on another thread, when did this woman with the attorney husband have the time to negotiate a book deal when she was supposed to remain anonymous prior to the end of the trial. The verdict was reached on Sunday and on Monday she closed the deal? Very strange.
