If they cared about black people?

Why is there little to no coverage of the THOUSANDS of homicides a year in the black community most of which in inner cities and many of which completely unsolved?

Why is there little to no coverage of the alarming rate of babies being born out of wedlock in the black community at rates that are gradually approaching a whopping 75%?

Why is there little to no coverage of the obesity epidemic, heart disease, stroke, and cancer rate that is so much higher in the black community?

Why is there little to no coverage of the wealth disparity in the black community?

Why do they promote commercial rap which is saturated with hyper-sexuality, drug, and alcohol use, glorification of violence and thug mentality?

If none of these things are covered, how did you find out about them? Divine inspiration of personal research?

The media cares about growing the power of the media and those it supports.

I found out about all of those things through personal research. Crime stats from FBI website, family stats from Census Bureau, etc. Health stats from CDC.

And there is a difference between finding an article online when you are specifically looking for a topic and a saturation of around the clock coverage of a story or issue like we see with these other sensational headlines

So you comb FBI statistics ad health statistics from the CDC, etc, about African Americans, then when you discover trends and information that are common knowledge, you get upset that the media isn't covering it? Got ya. Makes perfect sense.

But people believe they actually care because they play to people's emotions with stories like

"Look Paula Dean said the N Word"

or

"Look this White-Hispanic guy killed a black kid"

"See black people we care about you because we cover these stories for days and weeks on end."

Common knowledge? So average person on the street that knows about the Trayvon Martin case can quote you statistics on health and wealth of the black community? And what does that have to do with people being manipulated by the amount of coverage of a story that subconsciously affects how important they find it to be?

Yes smack yourself in the head for the lack of logic that was applied or even acquired through schooling

No, it was more about your rather obvious lie about combing CDC statistics for trends on African Americans.

The media does not care about blacks. Or, whites hispanics or asians. Unless, controversy can be grown by mixing them up. They get people glued to their TVs, to hear about the lurking, racist, shadow enemy, that is preparing to rip our nation apart.

This enemy has wormed it's way into our government, justice system, schools, even our local grocery stores! Be watchful! But fear not, for they will keep us informed. They are the peoples intelligence agency. With the infornation they provide, we can prepare, and stand ready.

Their operatives will know, every time the dreaded N word is uttered, by a white person. Tben, a face can be put to that shadowy enemy, crouching, ready to spring.

The media? Care? Really care? About what? Lmao, film at 11, carefully edited to raise a battle cry from one or another community, about the injustice of it all. Can't let a small detail, like truth, get in the way of a good riot in the making. Wouldn't want that cake to fall. Problem with this is, people actually listen.

And what happens when that nice black lady, Michelle Obama, wants to do something about it? The vitriol and claws come out, from CD posters telling "Moochelle" to mind her own business, to hate-filled beeyotches like Sarah Palin mocking her on stage by eating cookies and drinking sodas the size of bathtubs.
