It would make no difference. They don't care.

$17B in PROFITS last year.
$17 billion, huh?

Walmart has 2.2 million full time employees http://finance.yahoo.com/q/pr?s=WMT+Profile

$17 billion divided among 2.2 million employees = $7,727.27 per full time employee per year or $3.71/hour per full time employee which can only be achieved if 1)we lay off all part time employees and 2)we completely screw over the stockholders not allowing the greedy capitalists any dividend whatsoever.

That would work really well for everyone, dontcha think?

And wouldn't you be the first in line to invest in a company that never made profits?

Actually the government is by the people, for the people. So safety nets are created by us, for us.

True, many men are ignorant about women which is why they are also ignorant about wanting the government to regulate a woman's body.

So does it bother you to pay for these things for people that don't/won't work?

It is not, never was and never will be a businesses responsibility to pay you according to your need.

If you have minimum wage skills, you will be paid minimum wage.

Don't live above those means.

Exactly. There is no risk or burden to them. When the government steps in and takes on the responsibility that should be on the parents, with money taken from others, it enables the behavior.

Can you please point to that in our Constitution? I see equal opportunity, but no equal outcome. I see that the government's responsibility is to defend the country, but not support every person that's made decisions in their lives that keep them from taking advantage of the wonderful opportunity that this country provides.

Safety nets should be VOLUNTARY. When they are taken from some, and given to others, it is not a safety net. It's redistribution of wealth.
