Not really surprising here, if you've ever had service, purchased goods or dealt with employees of any of these companies/corporations, you know how rude, and underpaid they really must be. If you treat an employee like crap, the crap is passed onto the consumer.
Dollar General for me is the cheap store I love to hate. I only buy certain items though. I guess you could say I'm helping the corporation and adding to their agenda. If I really could, I would boycott most dollars stores, but the Chinese junk is so cheap, it's hard to pass up a deal.
And these are, for the most part, the same companies who hire unskilled workers, with little or no education. All I have to do is look at the people who work at our local Dollar General or the Radio Shack where we used to live. Our Dollar G has had the same manager since they store opened 6 years ago and one of the part timers has been there all the time: The rest: most don't last more than a month or so and from the way they present themselves and dress, I am surprised anyone would hire them. Most of us want something for nothing and to keep prices low these companies can not pay much.
Dish Network at #1. Not surprising. Neither of the two big sattv outfits give much value to employees. Especially installers. Insrallers are on straight piece work. They deal with some crappy conditions and crappier people. These folks get the worst if it, installs sure aren't all the same. It can easily take a tech all day in one job, and he sure couldn't make any money that way. Plus, the people they have to deal with get pretty rude. I don't envy tbese techs. They get tied up on a tough install, and run late to another appointment ...oh boy. Wan a see people get nasty? Try telling tbem they won't get their TV service when they want it. It's like holding out a fix to an addict. Phewwww!!
It only took eight posts for someone to cough up this warm platitude. Well done.
You're welcome, glad I could help.
This is still a free country to work where you desire, correct ? Or did the law change where an individual is forced to work at a particular company.
