I'd vote for him before Clinton in a heartbeat.
Kucinich has nothing to do with Libertarian views.

He is a radical leftist, not libertarian.

That's because:

1) You probably only associate with lefty types in real life.
2) You read/watch/listen to the biased media so you don't recognize the bias.
3) You are used to people telling you what to do so it doesn't seem odd to you that the government wants to run your life.

Come out of the bubble....

I don't think it's your imagination; on some days I swear this place seems like little more than a poorly disguised extension of Stormfront.org. It's gradually become worse and worse since I registered here in 2009.

We have officially entered the Twilight Zone.
Nah, not the twilight zone, just an inevitable balancing of the laws of mathematics, which does not allow for someone to be wrong 100% of the time . I'm writing it off as pure coincidence.

With that said, the point made was an important one that few people seem to understand. Lot's of people are beginning to see little difference between the two parties, while noticing that the ship always seems to be heading in the same direction, no matter which side occupies the captain's seat. But, what they fail to recognize is, the extremism promoted by both sides is nothing more than the the age old tactic of divide and conquer.

Each side, left and right, promotes there brand of extremist authoritarianism, because by whatever brand name, the operative point remains authoritarianism. The left promotes the ideological position of government control of all matters big and small, while the right promotes corporate (monied interests) control. At the end of the day, it matters not whether government controls private industry, or private industry controls government ... in either case, the people are not in control, but are controlled.

The bottom line is, given the cosy relationship between government and major corporate interests, it's both impossible to tell which one is truly making the decisions, and irrelevant, given that the people are not.

You sayin' that the joint didn't start stinking until after you joined?

Look ... your reference to Stormfront is a telltale sign that you don't even understand the difference between left and right. I got some news for you .... that site is a bunch of fascist lefty/National Socialists for crying out loud. You people on the left never cease to amaze. When it comes to being clueless, you all have no equal. While you are so busy and quick to define others, you can't even recognize yourselves ... I swear, it's COMICAL.

Let me spell it out for you .... this board is comprised of hard left (40%), moderate left (35%) and people not suffering severe to moderate brain damage (25%). It's simply the dogmatic intolerance of the extremist lefty that makes this 25% seem like an overwhelming majority, since one righty is two too many in the eyes of the extremists on the left.

Now there may have been the appearance of a slight move toward what some consider the right ... but that's really an illusion, born of the fact that to those on the extreme left, everyone else is to the right, by comparison. And while that might be technically true, it's not actually accurate. The reality is, some of those on the moderate left are beginning to realize what a disaster these leftist policies are producing, and if truth be told, Obama may have done more to push moderates to the right than any official in history. His extreme authoritarianism is now beginning to frighten even leftists who may be moderates in their own points of view. It is certainly true, and becoming apparent to most that we as Americans have never been more polarized and divided than we are at this moment. It's not accidental. But as such, one can expect to see ideological lines being redrawn, and new ranks being formed in response to the escalation in tyrannical behavior of authorities. As more and more bad experiences become topics of conversation, and this despotism continues to increase, those that still possess the capacity for independent thought are re-thinking their positions.

I suggest you join them ... if you can.

It is not just your imagination. A quick review of the front page and 75% of the threads are started by conservatives.

They seem to have much more free time to spend on the internet.

Most are unemployed or marginally employed. That isn't necessarily their fault. What is their fault is turning on their fellow peons out of their own sense of personal failure and inadequacy. Check out these most frequent posters and see the times of day they post. It's all times of day. Many of us have probably witnessed this phenomenon, poor whites who scapegoat other in the same economic strata as themselves. Ask some of them what they do for a living that allows them to post at all times of day and night.

Someone hold me, I'm scared. I'm about to rep GuyNTexas.
