Seems as though the Tsarnaev brothers were not just 'inspired' by radical Islamic influences but also by extreme right-wing/white supremacist teachings here in the U.S. as well...

this begs the question of why do disenfranchised extremists embrace radical conspiracy theory? Lets be clear, I'm not talking about having a healthy skepticism of those in power and the institutionalized power structure; accountability and open government is important. However, there has been a particularly strong acceptance of overly encompassing conspiracy theories by portions of of the population (particularly a certain spectrum of the right in this country as of late).

I think its because these individuals feel there is little or no political solutions to their perceived grievances. We saw this among factions of the political left in this country pre civil rights movement and labor movement, where many of the political terror actions were committed by left-wing extremists who strongly embraced certain governmental/political conspiracies. However, lately (last 4 or so decades post civil rights movement) it is largely the political right that has adopted/taken-in many political conspiracies with some right-wing extremists committing acts of terrorism.

Does this mean that the broad political left is largely satisfied/pacified with the present day state of politics and law in America while the political right is not? What would have to change for the political right to be settled with the current political environment in America?
