It looks like Ron Paul was buying endorsements during his campaign for the presidency. What a highly ethical and principled way to carry yourself.

That was an interesting read. However, I would be very surprised if Mr. Paul knew of what was going on. Indeed, the telephone transcript indicates he did not know.

While I may not agree with Mr. Paul on many issues, I was always struck by his innate honesty. I bet he did not know of the going-ons by these people.

He wouldn't know what his own campaign manager was up to? The candidate makes the decisions and the campaign manager turns the decisions into action.

If this is true, then Ron Paul doesn't seem to know what his staffers are up to a lot of the time. Doesn't sound like a person who is serious about what he does. That, or, just more excuses to deny the fact that Paul is not the saint he is made out to be. His answer to everything questionable that comes up about him is either "I didn't know" or "I didn't do that, my staffer did". Ron Paul sure knows how to pass the buck

I am not a Paul support but that article really shows nothing connecting Paul to payment of money. Sorenson line doesn't seem creditable just reading the article. It seems funny his wife who supposedly took the check while he was in bathroom supposedly isn't interviewed for article. In fact;it sounds like I was in the bathroom denial of wrong doing:LOL.

Funny, when someone is on the right who is the "top person" they should know everyhting that is done....

When it's on the left, the "top person" does not have the time to know everything....

Well, we shall have to wait and see if anything develops from this story. I bet it withers away.

While reading it, I admit it did not 'smell' right. It seemed too pat.

Anyway, do not rush to judgment based on 'one side' of a story (although rushing to judgment seems to be the norm on this forum).

That's impossible, republicans or conservatives don't bribe anyone.

Ron Paul is a deadbeat who did nothing for 30+ years in Congress. Furthermore his pandering to racists and fringe groups made sure that he would never get more than 1% of the popular vote, let alone get elected out of his district. He's had a good run but the free ride is over.
