Yup. Good deal. Hungarian/EU dual-citizenship (ala Jus sanguinis since both parents were born there) and wifey is Canadian dual citizen. Our child is born here but shouldn't be a problem starting anew if we had to.

Same here. My siblings and I are all in the process of getting dual citizenship with Ireland-eligible through our Grandparents who emigrated from Ireland.

If you can keep your US citizenship, like with Ireland, then you should start that process now to obtain your dual citizenship papers. For Ireland it can take up to 18 months to get the paperwork that you then use to apply for a passport. The passport part only takes 2-3 months though.
