Christians in Egypt have been under threat, violence and persecuted, as well as churches being vandalized and burned down. Religion of peace striking again.
Oh, that is just so awful, so horrible. If, just once, if only israel would end the occupation, this would not have happened. Or the syrian civil war. Or the iranian faked elections and worldwide terrorism spree. Or the lebanese civial war and subsequent attacks. Or the libya uprising, or the algerian one.
If only israel would get out of the west bank, all of these areas would be so peaceful.
I know that because john kerry, nancy pelosi, obama and the arab league told me.
The Christians are being singled out and targeted for religious violence. They are not just being hit by a general wave of violence. Additionally, they were being deliberately persecuted throughout Morsi's reign while he looked the other way.
Good point. While what's happening to the Coptics is terrible, there's more than enough "terrible" to go around in Egypt this week. The condemnation of a religion for the political upheaval, especially when the vast majority of the violence is being inflicted on adherents of that very same religion, and especially from partisans who's own religion(s) (both of them) have their own history of comparable brutality, is inane.
