again, I've never shown my photo ID. I've opened three accounts online through various banking websites. NONE has asked for a photo ID.

and the BC is never a requirement. Its one of many types of IDs that you can offer.

I don't know how hard it is to open a bank account without an ID but I don't see that as a good thing. Seems like it would be easy pickings for fraud.
banks are more and more doing this, especially in states where they do not have a physical branch.

Same here. I live in Oregon where we have mail in voting. The only fraud I have ever heard of was a local election last year in a county where a ballot counter, not a voter, got caught throwing away some ballots.

As far as comparing the need for the requirement of a photo ID for a driver's license, liquor purchase, opening up a bank account, renting an apartment etc. these are not rights guaranteed by the constitution, the right to vote is. That's why people haven't been required to show a photo ID. I believe making a requirement to vote other than being an American citizen is unconstitutional.

Again it seems to me like that would be easy pickings for fraud. If it's that easy for you to do it it's just as easy for someone who is not you to do it.

SCOTUS has already ruled Voter ID constitutional.

I would say the bigger issue is whether your vote counted. Internet voting is also connected with absentee and now they have mail-in districts. As to tracking, seems they have been. I think the voter ID thing is simply used to deflect from the bigger issues such as election fraud. Better to point the finger at the divisive masses than the system.

Same here.

Voter registration card and an ID to verify I was the person on the voter registration card.
Even early voting.

I'm telling you!!!!! Both sides of the isle, abuse the easily corrupted.... absentee ballots.
That is where a lot of scrutiny needs to be in place, if not total elimination of absentee and mail in ballots.

Do you not see the room for corruption, by me filling out your mail in ballot the years after your 6 feet under, pushing daisies. How long would it go on before it was halted?

Computer hacking is another reason to go back to small precincts and paper ballots.

Is that your way of saying "suck it military and people who can't get to a polling office?"
