An 88-year-old wounded veteran of World War II died Thursday after he was brutally beaten, apparently at random, in the parking lot of his lodge in Spokane, Wash., authorities said.
Spokane police said they were seeking two suspects in the attack Wednesday night on Delbert "Shorty" Belton, a retired aluminum company worker who'd lived in the city for most of his life after he was discharged from the Army after the war. Belton died of his injuries Thursday morning, police said.
The suspects were described as black males of average build, 16 to 19 years old, wearing black clothing and red sneakers. Police Lt. Mark Griffiths said they apparently attacked Belton at random.
If they did it. They should be punished big time for it. What is wrong with the media? They publish a couple of stories in a week about two killings, yet ignore all the other murders that has been going on in this country for decades now.

Crimes like this don't fit their agenda. There's no outrage to be inflamed, or race baiting to be had. We all know that whites are the racists, blacks are the victims. Dead (literally) silence is to be expected.
Zimmerman fits the agenda and then you have the big mouths like Sharpton, if there was a white Sharpton he would immediately be labeled a racists.
A WW2 veteran getting beat to death and the daily slaughter in out inner cities don't fit the agenda. This is just another "random" event.
When the Riley Cooper`s of this country go away so will the Al Sharptons. I don`t care for Sharpton at all but he has as much right to free speech as Zimmerman has a right to gun down a teenager carrying Skittles.

So you're going to compare a football player who has been criticized in the press for a single comment to Al Sharpton who is considered a leader in the black community and constantly shows up on major news networks?
Riley Cooper has apologized, whether that is sincere or not is debatable. When can we expect Al Sharpton's apologies?

What should he apologize for and does Cooper`s forced apology mean that there aren`t any other racists in the U.S. ?
He can start by apologizing to both the black and white communities for instigating racism. If you want to kill racism the Al Sharpton's of the world are the ones that need to go. Riley Cooper is just some football player, there isn't anyone looking to him for leadership in their community.

That's debatable. I mean, of course he has the right to free speech. But it's debatable whether what he says is simply free speech.
Although he has put on a respectable veneer now that he has a television show, much of his previous speech was nothing short of racist ranting. No different than what you'd hear from skinheads or the KKK, except just in reverse.
His "free speech" in the Brawley case got him convicted of slander.
His speech about the Zimmerman case contributed in a very major way to the police in Florida being on alert for riots during the verdict.
And most recently Bill O'Reilly caught him in blatant lies. He pulled one sentence out of context from some remarks O'Reilly had made praising black people and presented it to make it look like O'Reilly was making racist comments. And worse than that, O'Reilly revealed that he had donated $25,000 to Sharpton himself to get Christmas presents for poor blacks. Not just some general donation. He donated it directly to Sharpton.
When you ask someone for a donation and they give you $25,000 it takes a special kind of scum to then turn around and publicly accuse that person of racism.
