Boehner backs Obama call for military strike on Syria | Fox News

House Speaker John Boehner on Tuesday said he supports President Obama's call for a military strike on Syria, giving the plan a weighty endorsement ahead of a key hearing on Capitol Hill.

Boehner, emerging from a White House meeting with several other top-ranking lawmakers, said the chemical weapons attack last month "has to be responded to."
"I'm going to support the president's call for action," Boehner said

I just saw him speak. Once they were briefed with the same intelligence information as the president, Pelosi and Boehner are both on board.

I knew this issue would not be voted on along the party lines.

The only thing Obama needs is strong support from the Democrats and that is the bottom line. If he doesn't have strong support from the Democrats the Republicans are going to be reluctant to stick their neck out to support him because the next thing is the D's will be hammering them in the political ads over it the next election.

He's a neocon, so no surprise there.

I'm still waiting for the case to be made that this act of war against Syria, is to protect our national security!!!!
